Ophthalmologist
Dr. Barry G. Chaiken is one of New York City's most trusted ophthalmologists, with one of the largest private eye care practices in the metropolitan area at 625 Park Avenue. A graduate of Yale University and Columbia University's College of Physicians & Surgeons, he completed his residency — including serving as Chief Resident — at Mount Sinai Hospital, and trained as a medical intern at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Chaiken provides comprehensive general ophthalmology care for patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on dry eye treatment. His reputation for excellence has attracted an international patient population, and his work has been recognized by New York Magazine, The New York Times, and Castle Connolly's Best Doctors.
